AEW All In 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. Jericho Tries A Will Ospreay Match

Onto the next problem.

It’s imperative that Ospreay slows down to suit Jericho’s style, and that Jezza doesn’t speed up to wrestle Will’s kind of match. That’s a fanciful thought anyway, because there’s surely no way Jericho is keeping pace with Ospreay at full pelt in 2023. That’s not meant to belittle the veteran - it’s just true that he probably wouldn’t be able to keep up for long enough to make it worthwhile.

Ospreay himself has been able to slow down a little over the past few years, and he's a much more complete worker for it. The agent in charge of this match (if Jericho's bouts even have outside influence) should make sure Jericho is the one who controls the tempo.

This is a dream match for Ospreay, so he'll be keen to do well and won't want to make a childhood hero look foolish. Jericho will definitely look silly if he tries to go hell for leather with Will and top Ospreay's exploits with Kenny Omega.
