AEW Full Gear 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen
5. Jungle Boy Gets Some Revenge
Jim Ross can be forgiven for pushing 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry as one of AEW's brightest young stars. The iconic announcer is even right to claim that Perry will be a future World Champ someday. To get there, he'll need to rid himself of some painful memories first.
Namely, All Out.
There, JB lost in 20 seconds to old mentor Christian Cage. There were shenanigans, obviously, but it's still an embarrassing stain on Jack's record. Then, he lost to ex-pal Luchasaurus in October. So, let's be real here: Jungle Boy deserves a big, big, big win on pay-per-view, and it'll come inside the steel cage vs. Lucha.
This is the beginning of the end for Cage and Luchasaurus in terms of punishing Perry. Ideally, Jungle Jack will show his balls (not literally) by taking a huge dive off the top of the cage onto Luchasaurus before winning. Y'know, Mick Foley on Triple H at SummerSlam 1997 style.
