AEW Full Gear 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Ric Flair’s Involvement Is Minimal!

There's a 99.9% chance Ric Flair will be hanging around ringside trying to score some spotlight for himself by spamming the "WOO!" button like a mid-90s action figure with "real voice sounds". Hell, the 'Nature Boy' might even get to deliver a chop or two to Nick Wayne, Christian Cage or Luchasaurus.

AEW should resist the urge to turn this into the 'Slick Ric' show though.

Flair's ego probs wouldn't like it, but he's not a focal point here. Sting is barely even the main course at this particular table himself - he, like everyone else involved, is there to push the idea that Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will inevitably meet one-on-one.

So, no camera-hogging from Ric and no Figure Fours in the middle of the ring mid-match. The hardcore AEW audience doesn't exactly have much (if any) desire to see Flair trade holds or do anything physical anyway. Keep his involvement to a bare minimum, please.
