AEW Revolution: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. The Inner Circle Helps A Bloody Chris Jericho Retain

If Twitter was in charge, then Jon Moxley would triumph over Chris Jericho at Revolution and become the new AEW World Champion. This writer happens to disagree that such a title switch should happen... yet. Jericho has way more in his locker as 'Le Champion', and it'd make the Inner Circle look foolish if they let Mox win the belt in a straight up singles match.

There's no stipulation here for a reason.

Sure, some may point to the number of heels winning on this list and wonder what the hell yours truly is thinking, but this is AEW. The fanbase don't bow to conventional heel vs. babyface tropes anyway, and not every pay-per-view needs that Vince McMahon-esque "Hogan must pose" happy ending.

No, at Revolution, a bloodied and roughed up Jericho should survive by the skin of his teeth thanks to his henchmen. Then, come Double Or Nothing (almost one year on from his sensational debut in 2019), Moxley can bag the belt in anniversary style and turn Nevada into his own personal nirvana.
