AEW Worlds End 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

8. Skye Blue Is Julia Hart’s Difference-Maker

On Dynamite, Abadon scared both Julia Hart and Skye Blue away following the latter's match vs. Kris Statlander. That was it. That was all that happened. Has such build been enough to sell Abadon as a threat to Julia? Nah, not really. It's too late to add anymore sizzle now though.

That's why focus should go on Blue's importance to the witchy cause.

Skye and Julia will fall out eventually (possibly leading to a match between the pair at Double Or Nothing in the new year), but it's far too early for them to be showing any cracks. At Worlds End, Blue should be the difference maker for Hart, thus ensuring that the House Of Black member holds onto her TBS Title.

With all due respect, Abadon is a stopgap challenger for Julia anyway. This isn't the first match in a series of title shots for the monster, but instead a one-off designed to push Hart to the forefront of the product on pay-per-view.

That's fine, but only if AEW remembers to tell a story with Skye.
