AEW's Plans For FTR's Return Revealed?
Here's how Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler could return to AEW...
FTR remained pencilled in to dethrone Gunn Club as AEW World Tag Team Champions, despite the duo's ongoing absence from company programming ahead of their contracts' apparent expiry date in April.
This is per WRKD Wrestling, who reported on Thursday:-
Despite how things may seem, as of right now, FTR are still the team slated to eventually take the #AEW tag team titles off of the Gunn Club.

The Gunns are currently slated to defend the World Tag Team Championships at this Sunday's AEW Revolution 2023 pay-per-view. The Acclaimed, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and Danhausen and Orange Cassidy are their opponents in a four-way bout.
FTR last wrestled on AEW television on 21 December, taking a Dynamite defeat to The Gunns. Harwood has since claimed that he believes his and Wheeler's contracts are set to expire in April. While there has been no word of a renewal thus far, Dax recently claimed the ball is in AEW's court at the moment, stating on his FTR With Dax podcast that he and Wheeler would be ready to return before April if Tony Khan makes the call.
A minor social media controversy kicked up last week when AEW acknowledged several contract wrestlers for their Wrestling Observer Newsletter Award wins, but not FTR.
Dax tweeted:-
Tell me April’s around the corner without telling me April’s around the corner. https://t.co/m9NA5nzRt0 pic.twitter.com/qfipzj5gw9

Harwood has since refuted claims that he is "unhappy", however:-
Guys, real quick, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. The “he’s unhappy” narrative that’s been painted of me because I stand up for myself has always made me laugh, but today even more. I’m very appreciative of what all of you have given me & my family. Stress is down, life is good. https://t.co/nIfYleFb3Y pic.twitter.com/NN9cGZLt9E
