SmackDown might be getting spooky tonight...

Alexa Bliss is set to return to WWE imminently, per a new report from PWInsider.

Bliss missed WrestleMania 41 despite returning to a massive ovation at the 2025 Royal Rumble. This, according to a Fightful Select report broken earlier this month, resulted from an injury suffered by Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy. The Wyatt Sicks faction, which Alexa was set to join, was originally slated to work a match against the Judgment Day stable in Las Vegas. This was all but corroborated when the trailer dropped for WWE: Unreal - a new Netflix show chronicling the creative process. A screenshot of a whiteboard detailing tentative WrestleMania plans was grabbed.

The returning Wyatt Sicks faction are scheduled to return to SmackDown, per the report, possibly as soon as tonight's (Friday 25 April) episode. Bliss, according to the report, will be installed as the new leader of a faction. Dallas was originally at the forefront.

This would follow the typical post-WrestleMania pattern; WWE loads the subsequent episodes of Raw and SmackDown with returning stars, new signings and NXT promotees to convey the impression of a new season ('Mania being the season finale).

The long-rumoured storyline looks finally set to happen. The Wyatt Sicks were formed in part to honour the creative legacy of the much-missed Windham 'Bray Wyatt' Rotunda. Alexa Bliss, of course, was aligned with Wyatt in WWE storylines across 2020 and 2021, during which time she portrayed a supernatural-leaning character.

The Wyatt Sicks, of which Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy are all members, have not been seen in WWE since the turn of the year, when an emerging feud with the Final Testament stable - three members of which have since been released - was dropped.

The extent to which the Wyatts will get pushed is up for debate - the stable was deemphasised before disappearing a few months back - but Alexa's star power is not at all inconsiderable, which might indicate a committed rebuild.
