All 10 WWE PPVs John Cena Has Missed In The Last Decade
5. No Mercy 2008
At Unforgiven 2008, Chris Jericho shocked the world when he entered Raw's Scramble match to win the World Heavyweight Championship - after being pummelled by Shawn Michaels earlier in the evening. This led to a legendary ladder match between the two at No Mercy the following month, but that wasn't the only entertaining matchup on the card that night. John Cena may have still been gone from WWE programming, but Raw had enough star power at that time that it almost didn't matter. Kane and Rey Mysterio were feuding and Batista and JBL were involved in the World Title picture. It was virtually guaranteed that Cena would have been chasing the championship had he been around, so his absence was beneficial to several Superstars. It gave the Michaels and Jericho feud the main event spotlight it deserved and allowed other up-and-comers such as The Legacy to make names for themselves.
