7. Money In The Bank 2014 (WWE Championship Ladder Match)

With Daniel Bryan forced to vacate the World title due to injury, WWE scrambled to find a replacement, and thus threw together John Cena, Kane, Randy Orton, Sheamus (the U.S. title? What’s that?), Cesaro (seriously), Alberto Del Rio (seriously), Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns in a ladder match.

With eight guys, it’s almost impossible to have any of that “story” malarky. The match is pretty much just a showcase for cool, whacky spots (Cesaro and Sheamus teetering on a ladder structure, Randall tripping Cesaro off the ladder and catching him with an RKO, Reigns leaping through a ladder to spear Kane, etc). However, it’s a fun main event that sustains your interest, and with all the competitors, it’s cool to see the reactions various people get as they tease reaching for the belts. #LolCenaWins, of course, because after all, none of the other people in the match stood a remote chance.

Still, a good time is had by all watching this match.
