3. ECW One Night Stand 2005 (The Dudley Boyz vs. Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman)
Hey, it was a PPV made on WWE’s dime, so it counts! ECW’s big reunion was headlined with a tag match between ECW legends. Though, calling this a wrestling match would be charitable at best. Featuring cameos from the Blue World Order, Kid Kash, Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, Lance Storm, Justin Credible, Francine, Beulah McGillicutty, and Spike Dudley, the wild brawl is an excuse to trot out ECW favorites for one last hoorah.
But, it’s successful, as it’s one of the most entertaining car wrecks you’ll ever watch. Special mention must go to Tommy Dreamer, who gets the sh*t beaten out of him in this match. By the end, he’s absolutely bloodied as the Dudleys powerbomb him through a flaming table. Dreamer’s been called the heart and soul of ECW, and performances like this show you why.
Even if you have no attachment to ECW, this is garbage wrestling at its finest. Check it out.
