All WWE Horror Movies Ranked Worst To... Less Bad

3. No One Lives

Much like Incarnate, No One Lives relies on a tired plot with a unique twist.

The film's opening appears to set up a Wrong Turn-style narrative in which the protagonists arrive in a small town only to find themselves beset by murderous villains. Shortly into the narrative, however, we're hit with two huge reveals almost simultaneously.

First, we learn that our apparent protagonist is in fact the film's true villain, and the apparent villains are to play the role of the movie's victims. Then, said victims find a kidnapped woman in Evans' trunk who almost immediately identifies herself as the movie's final girl.

What follows is an intentionally campy action horror that revels in its gore. While some of the deaths feel pretty rote, others are creatively depraved. It's especially difficult not to feel a surge of twisted amusement when one of Evans' dead victims abruptly sits up, revealing Evans to be hiding inside the clearly rubber body like Luke Skywalker in his tauntaun.

No One Lives may not be the most nuanced film, and at times it's borderline offensive. But Adelaide Clemens steals the show as final girl Emma Ward, and it's intensely enjoyable to watch her deadpan her way through this otherwise over-the-top feature.
