Analysing WWE’s 10 Most-Viewed YouTube Videos Of 2017

5. WrestleMania Entrances: Top 20 (March 27th) - 10,415,318 Views

Hard not to see how this one caught the imagination of so many.

WrestleMania as an occasion is such a sprawling beast in 2017 that it simultaneously excites fans as much about its past as it does a present or future.

Countless retellings of legendary matches and moments from the 'Show Of Shows' bleed through into the weekly broadcasts as well as the hearts and minds of the internet wrestling community and the wider fanbase at large.

Routinely a highlight of the event since early iterations, large scale WrestleMania entrances are often a bigger part of the show than the matches themselves, with Superstars looking even more larger than life on the 'Grandest Stage'.

Thanks to a series of increasingly daft arrivals throughout the mid-2000s, John Cena features heavily in the collection, as too do the Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels at their grandiose best. Aside from The Rock setting fire to his own name with a blowtorch or Shane McMahon forcing his kids to do his stupid f*cking dance, Andre The Giant's dignified WrestleMania 3 approach is neatly included. The very opposite of spectacle for spectacle's sake, it remains an incredible visual to watch his indignant wave in the face of such hatred from 93,173(ish) Hulkamaniacs.
