Angelina Love Gone from TNA

Longtime TNA Impact Wrestling Knockout Angelina Love - real name Lauren Williams - has parted ways with TNA.

Longtime TNA Impact Wrestling Knockout Angelina Love - real name Lauren Williams - has announced via her twitter account (@ActualALove) that she has parted ways with the company. In her official statement on the social networking site Love said the following:
"To all my wonderful fans, just want to let you know I have been granted my release from TNA, It was completely amicable parting of ways and I want to thank TNA and all of its employees for the wonderful journey I've had there over the years. Now I'm on to the next amazing chapter of my life!"
Love had once been a major part of the highly successful, very exciting women's division in TNA, but when the Knockouts began to become a watered down version of the WWE Diva's it was apparent her push had come to an end. Saddled with a dreadful 'zombie' gimmick as part of a team with ex-WWE Diva Katrina Leigh Waters aka Winter, she was eventually dropped from television and ultimately removed from the title hunt. This isn't the first time Love has been removed from the TNA roster. Back in 2009 Angelina was said to have been deported back to Canada after failing to renew her Visa. When this issue was resolved she returned to the company as a babyface but was never able to return to her former glory. When asked about her release, TNA spokesperson Hulk Hogan gave a very blunt response indicating it was the decision of the office to remove her from the company and nothing to do with him. Many fans feel that the death of the Knockouts Division can be attributed to the hiring of Hogan and Bischoff, though this is merely conjecture. Angelina, who has made no mention of joining the WWE, is now available for independent bookings and can be contacted through her agent John, at john@spectacularsignings.com
