Apollo Crews will not be climbing WWE's corporate ladder at Money In The Bank 2020 on 10 May, the promotion has confirmed.

WWE released the following statement confirming Crews had been pulled from the titular men's bout after last ight's episode of Raw:-

“Apollo Crews suffered a knee injury that left him unable to continue in his United States Championship Match with Andrade on Raw. Due to that injury, Crews will no longer be able to compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday, May 10.”

Though the injury is almost certainly worked, it went down when one of Apollo's top-rope moves went wrong during the Andrade bout, leaving him writhing. The United States Champion was awarded the victory when the referee decreed that Crews couldn't continue.

Charly Caruso caught up with a disappointed Apollo later in the evening, though the former Titus Worldwide man refused to say whether or not the issue would harm his progress.

There's currently no word on who might replace Crews at Money In The Bank 2020. Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, Rey Mysterio, and Aleister Black are the only confirmed participants at the time of writing.
