Assessing Future Of 10 WWE Stars Who Didn’t Make Royal Rumble 2019 Cut

8. A Whole Bunch Of Tag-Teams

Originally, this entry was going to focus solely on The Usos, but there are loads of other tags who struggled for house room at the Rumble. Jimmy and Jey aren't alone; where were Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson? On that note, what the hell has happened to SAnitY since they traded NXT for SmackDown last year?

All three of these workable teams have been pushed aside from The Miz and Shane McMahon can act like friendly fratboys, and that's likely to continue through until 'Mania. OK, so not everyone can be in the tag title hunt, but The Usos have been one of WWE's most consistent duos for years now. At the very least, they should've been considered for spots in the Rumble.

Then, there's both The Colóns and The Ascension. Neither team has been able to push their way back into the mix.

All five of these units must be wondering what the hell happened, especially The Usos. They've been part of an ongoing romance story on SmackDown that also involves Naomi and Mandy Rose, and they could've rightly expected that to play into something/anything last Sunday.
