Assessing Future Of 10 WWE Stars Who Didn’t Make Royal Rumble 2019 Cut

7. R-Truth

Technically, R-Truth was an entrant in the men's Royal Rumble. The rapping dunderhead got an entrance and everything before being soundly thumped and replaced by an angry Nia Jax. That was it, that was Truth's lot on the pay-per-view.

So much for the Mixed Match Challenge.

Truth's partner Carmella didn't fair much better (she lasted seven minutes from the #30 spot in her women's Rumble) and that leads one to question what'll happen to the dance break-loving couple going forward. Are WWE going to persist with their dopey dynamic, or will 'Mella turn on Truth like she has everyone else?

If she does, where does that leave the veteran? He's burned through enough on screen relationships over the years to warrant his own list, and it's surely time to start thinking about life beyond Truth. The guy is 47 years old, and he's not going to rise above lower-card goof any time soon.
