Asuka To Defend WWE Raw Women's Title Against Charlotte Flair

The Queen and The Empress of Tomorrow meet in the PC.

WWE have announced that RAW Women's Champion Asuka will defend her title against Charlotte Flair on next week's episode of the red brand.

This past Monday, the Empress of Tomorrow dispatched Nia Jax in a rematch of their Backlash encounter. On the same show, Charlotte launched into a bitter tirade against anyone who accused her of being entitled.

As if to prove she is not entitled, the Queen now has a shot at Raw's top title - though to be fair, she did beat Asuka in a non-title contest a fortnight ago.

Elsewhere on the show, The Street Profits put their RAW Tag Team Titles on the line against The Viking Raiders, Sasha Banks & Bayley likewise defend their doubles straps against The IIconics, and Rey Mysterio promises to return.

Raw was pre-taped from the Performance Center this week, with the schedule shifted following reports of a positive test for one of WWE's developmental talents.
