Mr. Money in the Bank once again tries unsuccessfully to insert himself into a title match.

It was not a good night to be Austin Theory at Clash at the Castle.

Although he officially regained his first name to open the evening, Theory's team lost their six-man tag match during the kickoff show.

Then during the main event, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns were both knocked down, and Theory sprinted to ringside, Money in the Bank briefcase and referee in tow. As he went to cash in, however, lineal boxing champ Tyson Fury stood up from his ringside seat and knocked Theory out, once again foiling his attempt to become a world champion.

Theory lost the United States Championship at Money in the Bank earlier this summer, but then was inserted into the MITB ladder match later that night and captured the briefcase. He has tried multiple times to cash in, most notably at SummerSlam when he was flattened by Brock Lesnar, and then again Saturday by the Gypsy King.

At this point, it's becoming something of a running gag for Theory to try to cash in and be thwarted every time like a goober. Of course, it's only funny if you don't care about Theory or any prestige the MITB briefcase once held.
