Jade Cargill suffered a nasty cut during her brutally botched three way alongside Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton on last week's episode of SmackDown, but it doesn't look like the surefire future Women's Champ is going to miss too much TV time as a result. Fightful Select's sources within the company tell them "not be surprised if she isn't wrestling this week", but there's a fair chance that Jade will be back on screens shortly.

This isn't an injury that's going to bench her long term, basically.

PWInsider Elite aggregated the same word on Cargill's situation. She needed stitches, and shared graphic photos of the cut on her social media streams, but Jade is said to be in good spirits about the whole thing and is keen to get back in the mix. Meanwhile, there's still a bit of confusion about exactly who's to blame for the bungled SmackDown finish.

Fightful reported that "details are still foggy" on precisely what went wrong, but it didn't look great on camera. In the past, WWE would've asked the trio to work that ending again, but SmackDown obviously isn't a pre-taped weekly anymore and hasn't been for quite some time. So, it was what it was and they were powerless to clean it up - 'We're live, pal!'.

Cargill could be seen smiling in those aforementioned social pics showing off the wounds of war. A cut above her right eyebrow was sickening, deep and looked sore as hell, but she seems content to look on the bright side and there are thankfully no lingering effects that'll keep her from working going forwards.

It is, however, likely that WWE will keep Jade out of the ring for a week or so.
