In a behind the scenes vlog updated to WWE's official YouTube channel, Bianca Belair revealed that she did not emerge from her war against IYO Sky and Rhea Ripley unscathed.

"I think I broke a finger, my finger is hurt," she stated. She also said, now that her undefeated WrestleMania streak is broken, that her feelings are hurt - before suggesting that she was joking. She expressed her joy at the reception afforded to the match - "That was amazing" - and congratulated IYO on retaining the WWE Women's World title. "I would prefer it to be IYO [if anybody was to break the streak]. One of the greatest wrestlers on the planet. I can't be mad at that."

Suggesting that her programme with Rhea Ripley is not yet over, Belair also said: "Rhea, I'm still coming for that ass, OK? This ain't over because it's your fault."

One can infer from her tone, and there being no subsequent reports of injury, that the situation is not too serious. Wrestlers work through this sort of thing frequently.

Opinion - It's Little Wonder

It's little wonder that an injury or knock was suffered during WrestleMania 41 night two's instant classic of an opener. It was a hard-hitting war of a match.

Rivalling Bret Vs. Owen Hart from WrestleMania X as the greatest opener in the history of the biggest show in wrestling, Belair Vs. Rhea Vs. Sky was unbelievable. In many ways, it was the idealised WWE experience made real. Three toyetic, larger-than-life warriors beat the hell out of each other, against an enormous, spectacular backdrop, in an exhilarating, brutal match that set new standards in North American women's wrestling for drama, risk, creativity and state-of-the-art action.

Very few Triple Threat matches - which this was amongst the absolute very best ever promoted - flow and drive forward with such relentless, intoxicating momentum.

It's almost a shame that the political saga at the core of WrestleMania has dominated the narrative so thoroughly; this match was an all-timer that deserves far more focus.
