Big WWE Network Changes: 10 Things You Need To Know
3. The Return Of The Cruiserweight Classic
The Cruiserweight Classic was one of the most successful shows in the history of the WWE Network. Not only was it critically lauded, but it proved to be highly viewed by subscribers. With that in mind, there's no surprise that the company is bringing it back.
The survey sent out by the company indicates that the CWC will be available to subscribers at the $9.99 and $14.99 price points, and it stresses that these episodes will be new. What will they entail, though? It's a bit soon to be running another tournament, especially if it's going to have 32 all-new wrestlers.
Perhaps the show will be a Cruiserweight Classic in name only, and won't have a tournament aspect - instead, it will just be a weekly cruiserweight show with the same style and presentation of the CWC. That would be great, as it would give the division's stars some extra time to perform for a TV audience, as opposed to just a couple of Raw segments.
And it would also allow Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo to return as a commentary team.
