Big WWE Network Changes: 10 Things You Need To Know

2. Nothing About Original Content

When the WWE Network was first planned, fans speculated about the kinds of original programming that the service could provide - namely, reality shows featuring superstars that were presented in fun and interesting ways. Two and a half years into the network era, though, WWE has yet to nail the concept - programs like "Holy Foley," "Breaking Ground," and "Legends' House" have received various levels of praise, but none have become hits.

For that reason, it's not surprising that WWE didn't make any special mention of original programming on its survey. Instead, it all fell into the "video archive" category - plus whatever airs on the live stream. Had WWE created some out-of-the-ring shows that were popular, perhaps they would have been reserved as an incentive for higher price points, but that's not an option.

Perhaps this will be a sign to WWE that they should focus on making their original programming better, or simply stick to in-ring action like the Cruiserweight Classic.
