Biggest Winners & Losers of AEW Double or Nothing 2024

5. Winner: Adam Copeland

Will Ospreay
AEW

Simple things first, Adam Copeland successfully retained his TNT Championship over not only a game Malakai Black, but the interference of The House of Black's fellow members, Brody King and Buddy Matthews. It was an impressive victory in a brutal match that will go down as one of The Rated-R Superstar's highest marks as champion.

The performance itself is worthy of praise, too. To go out at this stage in his career and take that punishment while putting on a great show proves yet again, as if it were ever in question, why Copeland is one of the all-time greats. Never count him out to showcase his skills, even with all the injuries he's sustained.

But there were a few extra wins that helped make this even sweeter, such as his reunion moment with Gangrel. It's always fun to see legends return and after feuding with his best friend and fellow Brood member Christian Cage for so long, having an ally that is still on your side is a huge boost.

Finally, to cap it all off, Copeland was able to regain possession of his wedding ring that had been stolen by Black two weeks ago, righting that wrong and putting to bed that the negativity of The House of Black wasn't strong enough to break those bonds.
