Last night's bout between RKBro and the Street Profits didn't end as planned...

A tag team match between RKBro and the Street Profits ended on what looked like a botched finish during last night's episode of Raw.

Randy Orton and Riddle were facing off against Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford ahead of next week, when RKBro are involved in a Triple Threat for Alpha Academy's Raw Tag Team Championships. Unfortunately, the bout ended in Orton getting pinned.

The former WWE Champion took a late-match Frog Splash from Ford. Clutching his shoulder after impact, Orton rolled towards the ring, only to be caught by Montez, who made the cover. Randy kicked his boot at the bottom rope in what looked like an effort to reach it and break the count. He couldn't reach, but Dawkins reached out at it despite the fact that Orton was never making the rope break anyway.

Left without a choice, the referee had to count three. He and Riddle tended to Orton after the bell.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has since confirmed that this wasn't the match's intended finish:-

There is currently no word on how WWE originally intended the match to end.

Orton, meanwhile, is believed to have "tweaked his shoulder" during the bout, though the situation isn't expected to be serious. All the best to him in his recovery nonetheless.
