Is the Eater of Worlds' WWE return imminently on the horizon?

With WWE having brought back several released stars in recent weeks - such as Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, Dakota Kai, and Hit Row - Bray Wyatt is one of the major players who still finds themselves a free agent.

Backing up an initial report from Fightful Select, Wade Keller at the PW Torch has stated how "Bray is likely back in WWE soon". That Fightful story said that Wyatt's name had come up in internal discussions, although Keller has gone slightly further than that by indicating that not just is the Eater of World's return a possibility, it's now a likelihood.

It was previously said how several members of the WWE roster were prepared to go to bat for Wyatt where it pertains to him being brough back into the fold, although the belief now is that these wrestlers no longer need to do that. Under the creative stewardship of Triple H, it's now said to be a "clean state" for all where it pertains to current and former WWE talent.

Having been in the WWE system since 2009, the Eater of Worlds was somewhat surprisingly let go by the company on 31 July 2021. Since then, Wyatt has stayed away from the wrestling business bar a handful of convention appearances. During that time, the three-time World Champion has also been working on a horror movie project with SFX artist Jason Baker.
