Brock Lesnar was originally on the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition's WWE 2K24 cover.

With Brock Lesnar "withdrawn" by WWE where it pertains to last month's Royal Rumble and subsequent future creative plans, Lesnar has now been removed from the cover of the WWE 2K24 video game. This also comes on the heels of the talent being pulled from the WWE 2K Supercard mobile game.

Previously, Brock was to be featured on the cover art for the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition of WWE 2K24. In updated artwork, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion has since been removed, with the image of John Cena instead increased in size and a shot of Triple H moved around to cover Lesnar's absence. It remains to be seen whether Brock Lesnar will still be a part of WWE 2K24 or whether he'll be removed from the game entirely.

As per Andrew Ravens of WrestleNews.co, you can see the change below:

Brock Lesnar was originally scheduled for the Bron Breakker spot at this year's Royal Rumble, with Lesnar due to interact with the same talents as Bron, score the same eliminations as Bron, and, like Bron, be eliminated by Dominik Mysterio.

From there, Lesnar and Mysterio would've had a match at WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, and Brock would've faced GUNTHER at WrestleMania XL, likely for the Intercontinental Title. While that Rumble role was given to Bron Breakker, it remains to be seen whether the Elimination Chamber and 'Mania plans will likewise be passed to the second-generation star.

This all comes in the aftermath of Janel Grant's lawsuit brought against Vince McMahon, where McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and other WWE figures are accused of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse between 2019 and 2022. As part of that lawsuit, there's reference to a "world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract". The Wall Street Journal has since identified Brock Lesnar as that person.
