Charlotte Flair To Pull Double Duty On WWE NXT & Raw?

The new NXT Women's Champion has become a two-brand Superstar.

Charlotte Flair will continue as a two-brand WWE Superstar for the foreseeable future.

This is the word of Dave Meltzer, who claimed that current plans call for 'The Queen' to work both Raw and NXT while speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.

The build to WrestleMania 36 had seen Flair working a similar schedule, with her and rival Rhea Ripley jumping back and forth between brands to further their feud: now, with Flair defeating Ripley for the NXT Women's Championship, it's set to continue.

Meltzer has also reported that WWE had Charlotte defeat 'The Nightmare' to claim her second NXT strap because they want her to help close the gap on AEW Dynamite in the ongoing Wednesday night ratings war. The black-and-gold brand has fallen badly behind the upstart promotion in 2020, having failed to outdo their viewership once, though Flair's previous appearances haven't sparked notable increases in the numbers.

Pulling double duty isn't the grind it would normally be at the moment, as WWE is currently taping all content in an empty Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and there are no house shows to worry about either. Flair will theoretically be working twice as many bookings, though it's still a light workload.
