CM Punk's busy evening on AEW Rampage last night saw the star hit commentary, pay tribute to a legend, and hilariously turn down a drink offer from one overly excited fan.

As noted, the former WWE Champion was tasked with doing commentary for Darby Allin and Daniel Garcia's showdown on the Friday night delight. Also, instead of his record-breaking new t-shirt, the latest AEW megastar was seen sporting a Bret Hart Montreal Screwjob number. The back of this particular item of clothing came equipped with the phrase "Art is a wound turned into light.”, with the text "“11.9 97 MTL” alongside it. If you haven't joined the dots already, this is alluding to the date and location of Survivor Series 1997.

Not long after revealing this shirt to the world, Punk decided to get up close and personal with the paying audience, leading to an exchange which quickly started to do the rounds online.

As a jubilant fan couldn't believe their luck as they stared softly into the Chicago-native's eyes, they couldn't resist offering the straight edge star a sip of their beverage. Punk, stunned by the lack of awareness, shook his head and quickly laughed off the whole thing before vacating the hilariously awkward situation.
