Cody Rhodes On The 3 AEW Wrestlers He Still Wants To Face

Cody hasn't quite ran the entire AEW gauntlet just yet...

Cody Rhodes' list broke the internet in May 2016, as the former Stardust tweeted his dream opponents (and other bucket list items) just a few days after being let go from WWE.

The likes of Kurt Angle, The Young Bucks, Katsuyori Shibata, and Moose were all crossed off before 'The American Nightmare' finally planted his flag with AEW, making most of the rest impossible. Now, Rhodes has told Bleacher Report the AEW wrestlers he most wants to face in the promotion.

"Angelico from TH2 is someone I want to test myself against," said Cody. "I've never actually had a singles match with 'Hangman' Adam Page. I think a match we wanted to happen so many times but was hurt by the pandemic was PAC. We've both grown so much from Neville and Stardust and to be able to show the world that would be really special."

Rhodes dropped the AEW TNT Championship to Darby Allin at Full Gear 2020 this past weekend. His two reigns brought matches with opponents as diverse as Brodie Lee, Eddie Kingston, Ricky Starks, and Sonny Kiss, meaning Cody has already faced a huge chunk of the AEW talent roster.

Still, that PAC, Page, and Angelico are still on the table shows Cody has plenty of boxes left to tick.
