Could recent lightning rod-for-hire Bobby Fish be returning to WWE via his former NXT home?

Unknown, but the former Undisputed Era man was spotted backstage at one of the brand's recent live events. This was confirmed by Fightful Select, who also noted that fellow ex-NXT star Anthony "August Grey" Greene was also present.

Fish is currently appearing regularly for Impact Wrestling, but made no secret of his love for working for Triple H and Shawn Michaels during his previous tenure with WWE. The former NXT Tag Team Champion had wrestled for AEW between October 2021 and July 2022, before separating somewhat acrimoniously with the company amidst public criticism of then-Champion CM Punk.

Greene wrestled on 205 Live and NXT between November 2020 and June 2021, making odd appearances inside Triple H's Capitol Wrestling Center era of the black-and-gold brand before the show was overhauled for the "2.0" remodelling later than year.

Neither man has confirmed or denied possible moves back to the company, but would join an increasingly long list of returnees since 'The Game' took over as WWE's Head Of Creative and Talent Relations in July.
