Current AAA Latin American Champion Daga may soon find himself becoming #AllElite.

In a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been talks between AEW and Daga about him joining the promotion. The former AAA World Cruiserweight Champion is presently signed with AAA, so there’s no word on when he would debut for All Elite Wrestling if and when he did sign with Tony Khan’s company.

Having previously worked for Lucha Underground, Daga caught plenty of attention during his run in IMPACT Wrestling. Debuting for IMPACT in February 2019, he was granted his release from the promotion last October after spending a large portion of 2020 at home.

Of course, Daga and Tessa Blanchard got married this past August.

Where Tessa’s future is concerned, the former IMPACT World Champion’s prospects of likewise ending up in AEW still remain up in the air. While the Queen of the Carolinas would be a viewed as a great ‘get’ in terms of her ability, any decision on her joining AEW comes down to weighing up whether the pros outweigh the negatives and backlash that any such move would make.
