Dean Ambrose’s TLC Matches: Ranked From Worst To Best
4. 2017 – Kurt Angle, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins Vs. The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro And Sheamus
No one was expecting a classic when this match was announced, but with half of the Raw locker room jam packed into the destruction derby main event, people were at least hoping for some big dumb WWE fun. Thankfully, that is exactly what we got. In fact, you’d be hard pushed to find another match with quite so much carnage.
When it comes to over-the-top chaos, WWE are experts, and here was no exception. It wasn’t pretty but it sure was entertaining, and even surreal at times with Kurt Angle becoming an honorary Shield member in his first WWE match in over a decade.
Though the story on the night was mostly centered around the Olympic gold medalist, each superstar got their moment to shine, particularly Ambrose, who despite having an aimless 2017 found a rejuvenated purpose in the reforming of The Shield.
However, in a match with so many moving parts, it really didn't need the ridiculous addition of the garbage truck, nor the excessive run-time. By the end you’ll certainly be entertained, but you’ll also be exhausted from how hard it remains to keep suspending your disbelief.
