WWE still has big plans for LA Knight over the coming weeks, with the former Eli Drake remaining a top candidate to win this year's men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Insider account @BoozerRasslin is of the belief that Knight remains a leading MITB contender. The popular SmackDown star has been on WWE's to-push list since after WrestleMania 39, and while plans can always change in this volatile sport, this remains the case.

Knight faces Montez Ford of the Street Profits for a Money in the Bank ladder match spot on tonight's SmackDown. Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura have already entered the contest via their own qualifiers, leaving four spots to fill.

WWE is bringing Money in the Bank to the United Kingdom for the first time in 2023, hosting the event at London, England's O2 Arena on Saturday, 1 July.

Knight, who entered WWE via NXT in February 2021, is currently experiencing a surge in popularity on SmackDown, where he stands out as one of the brand's most naturally over midcarders. His most significant WWE match to date remains the Mountain Dew Pitch Black defeat to Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble 2023.
