Drew McIntyre's MASSIVE Clash At The Castle 2024 Match Revealed
Who will the 'Scottish Warrior' be facing in his home country?
Drew McIntyre will be facing Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at this year's Clash at the Castle: Scotland PLE.
That's according to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with Dave Melter reporting that the contest is expected to occur at the incoming event.
Not only that, but Meltzer also added that the finish would likely either be the Scotsman winning the belt in his home country or CM Punk once again costing him the strap.
In Dave's opinion, WWE going with the former option makes the most sense due to McIntyre as champ leading to stronger top title storylines with the likes of Punk, Priest, Seth Rollins than The Judgment Day man would have with the red show's top contenders.
Priest and McIntyre came face-to-face on the latest episode of Raw, with the World Heavyweight Champion telling the former champ that he would get a shot at the belt once he's cleared.
And according to this report, it now looks like said match will be going down within the OVO Hydro and Drew could end up walking out of his home country with the big gold belt.
