Former WWE star Cora Jade, who's now known as Elayna Black, has fired back at allegations from a one-time peer that she was a known bully at the company's Performance Center. Ex-PC trainee Alexis Lete has alleged (via the 'That One Time' podcast with Adam Metwally) that she was singled out by Jade during her time at the facility between 2022-2023.

Lete, a former volleyball player who was recruited by WWE scouts, was released before she could even make it to NXT. She spent ample time at the Performance Center alongside other women like Jade and Roxanne Perez though - Alexis called the latter "such a sweet human", but said that Perez was led astray by Cora's "really mean" behaviour.

According to Lete, Jade bullied her and specifically demanded that she take down a TikTok video because it exposed the inner workings of the pro wrestling industry.

Cora/Elayna posted a series of rebuttals on her official X account. She said she "shouldn’t be giving this girl an ounce more of [her] energy", but would broach the bullying allegations once before moving on. Defending herself, the former NXT Women's Tag-Team Champion said that Lete "came into the PC and immediately had heat with everyone for being disrespectful on more than one occasion".

Further, she claims that Lete's behaviour worked its way up the food chain and even wrestlers on WWE's main roster were aware of it. Black added that she "texted this girl trying to help", but it was Alexis who "chose to basically tell me to f*** off and then continue to get heat for weeks". Then, after "multiple main roster talent members spoke to her as well, she decided to come up to [Jade] and apologise".

On the bullying allegations, Elayna said this: "There is absolutely no respect for wrestling with people like this and it’s not my job to care about anymore. Which is exactly what is wrong with that entire place in general. I spoke to her maybe 5 times total [if] that. Blunt to a fault sometimes? Yes. But bullying is crazy".

Black Has Taken A Mental Health Break From Wrestling

Cora Jade/Elayna Black was released during a round of WWE roster cuts this past May. It wasn't long before she had renamed herself and began working on the independent scene (including a few matches for GCW), but then Black announced her intentions to take a break from the biz for the good of her mental health.

In late-July, the 24 year old said that she'd be away from the industry for the "foreseeable future" whilst she figured things out and tried to rekindle her love for wrestling. Immediately, Elayna received a lot of support from fans who enjoyed her body of work on NXT and had hoped to see her make a splash on bigger platforms like Raw or SmackDown in the future.

Black revealed that she'd be taking the rest of 2025 off to focus on herself and other things.
