AEW All Out 2020 Mimosa Mayhem Orange Cassidy Chris Jericho
AEW

All Out 2020 was one of the few PPVs in AEW's early years that didn't live up to the company's high standards. The whole event was marred by an irresponsible spot between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara in their Broken Rules match, in which Sammy speared Hardy off of a scissor lift and onto the concrete floor. Matt's head visibly hit the concrete with extreme force, knocking him out temporarily, but the match still continued with Hardy getting the win.

In other questionable moments, Orange Cassidy dropped Chris Jericho into a vat of Mimosa (because orange juice and the bubbly equals...well, you get it) to win the first and last Mimosa Mayhem match, and event the night's main event involved Jon Moxley using the Paradigm Shift while the referee was distracted to defeat MJF, in a match that the finisher was banned in.

This was also the night that 'Hangman' Page's relationship with The Elite came to an end. After months of Hangman's hard drinking with Omega trying to keep him on the straight and narrow, the unlikely pair's tag team imploded as FTR exploited Hangman's insecurities for weeks to soften him up, before pinning him to win their first AEW Tag Team Championships. Omega would leave a defeated Page in the ring at the match's climax, beginning his heel turn and the incredible story between himself and 'Hangman'.
