Every Current Champion In WWE (And Who Should Beat Them)
10. World Tag-Team Titles
Champions: Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh
Who Should Beat Them: Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed
Judgment Day's full on meltdown has been in the post for a while. It's actually surprising it didn't happen when Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest left. WWE decided to keep the faction ticking by adding Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and (latterly) Roxanne Perez. Fair enough, but the days of JD ruling Raw are very much a thing of the past, and the faction is about to implode for good.
Of course, that shouldn't mean that Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh have to split up as a tag-team or feud against one another. The main beef will be between Bálor and Dominik Mysterio, but Finn and JD dropping their World Tag-Team Titles could play a part in the broader story. Besides, there's another fabulous unit simply begging to strut around the place donning belts.
Maybe Paul Heyman could even pop one over each shoulder as he proudly marches to the ring behind Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed? Just a thought. Breakker and Reed looked utterly awesome as a tandem against Roman Reigns and Jey Uso on SummerSlam Saturday in early-August, and there's a sense they're only getting started as a would-be 'Two Man Power Trip'.
Eat your heart out, Steve Austin and Triple H circa 2001.
Winning some tag gold whilst Seth Rollins is World Heavyweight Champion would signify that the Rollins and Heyman-led stable is the premier group on WWE's flagship. Factions holding a ton of gold is nothing new, but it typically seems to work well and reflects their important to the weekly product.
Also, selfishly, this writer fancies seeing Bron and Bronson do their thing against the rest of the tag division for a while.
