Every John Cena Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
1. Trainwreck (2015)
Strictly speaking, Tour De Force is the best overall movie on Cena's CV, but it's not his best performance. In a close run competition, it's his emotional beefcake in Trainwreck who wins out.
It was this performance that truly launched him as a comedy actor - getting him more work in the process - with a self-deprecating edge and a willingness to laugh at himself that stood out over the rest of Amy Schumer's first big star vehicle.
He plays her put-upon boyfriend, obsessed with body-building but also very committed to real love and commitment, and the sex scene the pair share in which she demands he talks dirty to her is unnervingly funny. So too is the cinema-set scene in which he throws shade at Mark Wahlberg for that matter.
The film itself is good, but Cena is an absolute revelation, and you ought to watch it for him.
