18. Togi Makabe

At 45 years old, New Japan's 'Unchained Gorilla' is one of the most limited wrestlers in the company.

He's a lumbering, brutish brawler synonymous with hiding behind other wrestlers in six-man tags, only ever exerting himself when absolutely necessary. Makabe can still turn it on in singles matches (as evidenced by March's excellent IWGP Intercontinental Title scrap with Minoru Suzuki), but such occasions are few and far between in 2018.

Makabe's inclusion is explained by his popularity. He's a big crossover star in Japan, and native fans still love him, but nobody should expect anything more than a handful of gritty, hard-nosed slugfests from him.
