"Hangman" Adam Page is one of only two acts in AEW to have performed at all three events thus far and to have walked away with a win every time.
Page came to AEW with a lot of promise. He was already an established act on Being The Elite and was part of a marquee match at All In in 2018.
Page was originally scheduled to take on PAC at Double or Nothing, but, due to creative differences, the former Neville pulled out of the show. This left Page free to enter and win the Casino Battle Royale on the pre-show.
With a match against Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship looming, Page was booked incredibly strong, winning a four-way match at Fyter Fest and then defeating Kip Sabian at Fight For The Fallen.
The Hangman has been on an amazing win streak in AEW, but the calibre of his opponents haven't been on nearly the same level as the man he will face in Chicago.
Chris Jericho is a bona fide legend and Page still doesn't feel ready to go up against him. We'll have to wait and see how he does on August 31st, but expect this win streak to come to an end.
