7. Bael Has His Head Eaten (Lucha Underground)

Hey, has anyone tapped current WWE SmackDown man JC Mateo on the shoulder and asked him to answer for chomping someone's head off in Lucha Underground many moons ago? Leader of the pack and 'Tribal Chief' wannabe Solo Sikoa might be interested to know that one of his MFT crew is on the run for such heinous behaviour. That happened when Mateo/Jeff Cobb was playing the role of Matanza on LU.

Devious promoter Dario Cueto punished those who defied or disappointed him by using Matanza as nightmare fuel. His monster was caged up and restrained, but only when Dario said so. At one point, Bael failed Cueto, so he had to be punished. What did he get? Detention? No, this wasn't school. A written warning? Nah, Lucha Underground wasn't your standard workplace either.

He had his head eaten by Matanza.

It's said that Mateo still won't touch WWE catering because he's still full up to this day. Dario fed Bael to Matanza during one of LU's madcap episodes, as you do. It's a truly silly thought, but the henchman had his face, skull and everything else in between gobbled by JC Mateo's earlier alter ego.

This was a message sent by Cueto to anyone else working for him. Some promoters like Tony Khan add injury time onto contracts. Others, such as Vince McMahon, humiliate their own employees on screen. Not Dario Cueto. This imaginary evil owner decided it was best if any failures were quickly eaten by caged horrors. At least there'd be no mess that way.

Farewell, Bael. We hardly knew ye. His poor face.
