Every WWE Clash Of Champions Match Ranked From Worst To Best
2. Sasha Banks Vs. Becky Lynch (2019)
While the finish of the match left a lot to be desired, particularly in how it humiliated the recently heel Sasha Banks after the DQ finish, this was one of the best matches of 2019 in WWE and showed off both women's wonderful wrestling abilities.
On the mat, this was the best Becky looked during her entire title reign, with her work with Sasha involving impeccable transitions and remarkable offensive prowess. Banks sold her new character perfectly, embedding sickening strikes into her repertoire and bumping even more aggressively than usual for her babyface opponent.
There was a level of intensity in the way they wrestled each other that cemented it as something special - the feud was immediately electrifying as soon as they started striking each other. It had the fans so perfectly engaged that the non finish didn’t damage the appeal of seeing them wrestle again, just getting fans excited for the time when one would decisively win.
The two would go on to top themselves inside Hell in a Cell, but this more than stands up as a brilliant title contest. If it had handled its disqualification finish a little better, it would be remembered as one of 2019’s best matches.
