Then: A lot of people were surprised when it was announced that JoJo Offerman was set to leave WWE in January 2021. She'd seemed like a popular figure amongst fans, and had the potential to break out into an active wrestling role at some point in the future if she fancied it.

JoJo started a relationship with Bray Wyatt, and the couple got engaged in 2022. Sadly, they'd never wed before Bray's untimely death the following year. Everyone in the wrestling community showed compassion towards Offerman (naturally) for her loss. She and Wyatt had 2 young children together, so this was a harrowing chapter in her story.

The pint-sized ring announcer seemed to be a smash hit in WWE circles, so it's still puzzling that things ended so suddenly.

Now: JoJo did return to the industry via AEW in January 2025. Again, she assumed a ring announcer role for an episode of Collision, and she'd even go on to perform Swerve Strickland's entrance track at All In Texas that summer. There, Swerve and Will Ospreay teamed up to defeat The Young Bucks.

Things have been fairly quiet on the Offerman front since then, but she has previously stated that she'd be interested in becoming an onscreen manager or character. At 31, she still has a lot ahead of her. It isn't impossible that she could pop up again in a full-time role on AEW TV. Failing that, maybe she'll launch a WWE comeback in the future and get to do some managing.

Stranger things have happened.
