Every WWE Release Of 2021 - Where Are They Now? (Five Years Later)
44. 2point0
Then: Whether they were going by 2point0, 2.0, 3.0 or Ever-Rise, the then-Chase Parker and Matt Martel proved to be largely peripheral figures in the WWE system. The duo were plonked on NXT in 2019, but they'd never properly get going before being released in June 2021.
Before leaving, the pair did try their luck on old Cruiser brand 205 Live, but they didn't make much of a splash there either.
Now: Chase and Matt moved to AEW and became 'Cool Hand' Angelo Parker and 'Daddy Magic' Matt Menard. The team debuted on the 4 August 2021 edition of Dynamite, then eventually joined the Jericho Appreciation Society alongside Chris Jericho (obviously) and others like Jake Hager who were coming over from the Inner Circle group.
That run lasted around a year before Don Callis began agitating for Jericho to jump over and become part of his own faction. Meanwhile, 'Cool Hand' Ang started a romance storyline with real-life partner Ruby Soho, and Menard moved into more of a commentary role on shows like Rampage,.
Parker hasn't wrestled since he and Menard lost a tag effort to FTR on the 12 April 2025 episode of Collision. 'Daddy Magic' has been a bit more active - his latest match fell on 5 March 2026 episode of ROH on HonorClub. There, he lost a 4-way elimination bout to AR Fox, Shane Taylor and Lee Johnson.
2point0 are earning a living from the biz, but they seem destined to be bit part players at absolute best a full 5 years on from their WWE releases.
