Then: Imagine wrestling just one WWE match but getting to say that you teamed with the legendary Rey Mysterio. That's something the imposing Giant Zanjeer can boast about to friends. He, Mysterio, Ricochet and Shanky defeated Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin on Superstar Spectacle in January 2021.

How's that for a Survivor Series team?! The second one, not Zanjeer and pals.

WWE didn't take this particular Giant on for too long though. Apparently, someone behind the scenes thought Shanky was a better prospect and they signed him instead. No offence intended here, but...how bad was Zanjeer if big Shanks was picked ahead of him?!

Zanjeer was officially scrapped in August 2021.

Now: It's pretty tough to find any actual information on Giant Zanjeer once his WWE dreams ended. He was a basketball player before getting into wrestling, but it's unknown whether or not he returned to the sport following Superstar Spectacle.

If he did, then you just know that the big dude told anyone who'd listen that he tagged with Rey Rey. Wouldn't you? 'Sure, that 3 pointer you bagged was impressive, but I saw the 619 up close'. You'd have to say it. Being honest, statements like that are pretty much stalling for time here, because there isn't that much to say about Zanjeer.

He wrestled one match for WWE, then vanished never to be seen again. He's another one of those obscure trivia question answers, so look out for him during a quiz down your local pub. If local pub quiz hosts drum up questions about Superstar Spectacle one offs, that is.
