Every WWE Smackdown Intro Ranked – From Worst To Best

5. 2002

Another entry for “The Beautiful People” here, but one that had a slightly better video package in my opinion.

That idea of backstage shots during the quieter moments, and in-ring clips during the louder chorus, was adhered to much more strictly in the 2002 intro. And it made the moment that the song reached its crescendo, and Shane McMahon simultaneously burst through a pane of glass, all the more effective.

There were also clips of some of the lesser-celebrated, but fondly-remembered, stars such as Billy & Chuck and The Hurricane, while we also saw less of Stephanie McMahon in this one and more of the actual wrestlers, which is always a bonus if you ask me!
