Tying up the hat-trick for “The Beautiful People”, I’ve placed the very first instance of this song being used ahead of its subsequent renditions.

This one likely benefits from the fact that it was the first time we’d ever heard the SmackDown theme change, making it all the more impactful when it debuted on our TV screens.

There were also some awesome additions to the video package though, such as a con-chair-to from Edge and Christian plus Tajiri’s infamous red mist. And on top of that we still got the awesome moments mentioned in previous slides, including Shane going flying through the glass pane at King of the Ring 2001 and the continuity between the images and the music.

This was undoubtedly one of the best intros ever, but not quite the absolute best on this occasion...
