No wrestling match is more iconic than Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III. A masterwork of showmanship over technical ability, that bodyslam is still the most enduring image in company history, and cemented the Hulkster as a bonafide megastar.

For the next year, after the controversy of Ted DiBiase buying the WWF Championship from Andre after cheating to win it from Hogan, a 14-Man tournament was set up to crown a new champion at WrestleMania IV, with a big marquee rematch between the Irresistible Force and the Immovable Object.

However, if Andre was in rough shape at Mania III, he was certainly no better a year later. Both men put on a match fairly similar to their previous encounter but with nowhere near the allocated time they had, what with 16 matches on the card, and tarnished the good will they'd built up from the previous year by ending the match on a double disqualification when both men hit each other with a chair.

In a world where we rightfully bash on Hogan/Warrior II at WCW Halloween Havoc, why does this match always get overlooked when it has the exact same problems and is on a much bigger stage? My guess is that there's so much going on in the event that it got lost in the shuffle.
