"Once in a lifetime" they said. They lied to our faces for a whole year.

It's a tremendous shame because Cena/Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII was a classic. Not so much in terms of in-ring ability, but in terms of sheer spectacle, charisma and an absolutely molten crowd. The Rock gave WWE renewed energy and Vince McMahon capitalised on that by booking the same match again, only this time the WWE Championship was on the line.

And when I say the same match, I mean the same match. There was little to no difference between the original and the rematch, with the exception of the red hot Miami crowd replaced by the literally freezing cold New York contingent who couldn't give the same atmosphere. Especially so considering a good number of fans couldn't even see thanks to the setup.

Kudos should go to the Rock who worked through a good majority of the match with torn abdominal and abductor tendons. So to get the same quality of match from a man working in considerable pain is something to admire.
