EVERYTHING Vince McMahon Gave Up On In 2020 (So Far)

1. Paul Heyman As RAW Showrunner

The latest bit of news to come from Vince's half-submerged schooner in the worst year that professional wrestling has seen, is that Paul Heyman is out as the showrunner for RAW. With the show struggling to keep its ratings above the required numbers long before Heyman took over, this wasn't helped by the current situation and its resulting lack of audience and stars.

Although the ratings were the reason given for Heyman being replaced, it's much more likely due to his own admission that he and McMahon constantly butted heads over who to push and how. Now Vince has turned the reins of both shows over to Bruce Prichard, a man who knows how to do things for an audience of one and has more experience than any other in that audience's tastes.

This article was meant to be a light-hearted look at some of the funny ways wrestlers have annoyed Vince this year, and how they were punished for it. Instead, we got a slasher film with wrestler's jobs as the innocent campers. Now, with #SpeakingOut addressing some of the worst people in the business, it seems that a welcome new dawn is coming to wrestling, shining its light where it's needed.
